I'ursirant to the provisions of reference (a), Sihject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure ( I ) wit11 this Board requesting, in effect, that tlie applicable naval record be
corrected to show he reenlisted and was atlvancetl undor the provisions of the Selective
Training and Reenlistment (STAR) program..
2. The Board, consisting of Mr. McPartlin, Mr. Milner, and Ms. Hare, reviewed

CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, arid especially in light of the
contents of enclosure (2), tlie Board finds the existence of an i~ljustice warranting the
following corrective action.

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that
