MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR
Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with
the recommendation of the Air Force and adopt the rationale
expressed as the basis for our decision that the applicant has
been the victim of either an error or an injustice. Therefore,
under the authority delegated in.AFI 36-2603, the applicant's
records will be corrected as set forth in the accompanying
Memorandum for the Chief of Staff signed by the Executive
Director of the Board or his designee.

promotion from E-2, to E-3, uthzing a DD Form 149 dated 18 Jul98.
This Headquarters recommends relief. After review of ANGI 36-2502
(Promotion of Airmen, Air NntioriaZ Guard), we have determined that the applicant
met the criteria for promotion on 6 December 96. It was through no fault of the
applicant, but system errors, that delayed promotion. The W t a r y Personnel
Flight indxatedthis error was a unique occurrence and measures have been
implemented to ensure this does not occur again.
