The applicant is requesting reinstatement on active duty.
On 20 Aug 97, the applicant separated from active duty after voluntarily Withdrawing
from the Air Force Academy Preparatory School. At that time, there is no indication that the
school had procedures that would allow preparatory school eliminees to reapply for a Career Job
Reservation (CJR) to reenlist.
We recommend approval of the applicant’s request for reinstatement. The applicant’s
record should be corrected to reflect he received an approved CJR in AFSC 3EOX2 with no
Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB). Also, a four year constructive reenlistment should be
granted effective 17 Nov 97.
