MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR 

Having carefdly reviewed this application, we agree with the recommendation of the Air 
Force and adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our decision that the applicant has been 
the victim of either an error or an injustice.  Therefore, under the authority delegated in AFI 36- 
2603, the applicant's records will be corrected as set forth in the accompanying Memorandum for 
the Chief of Staff signed by the Executive Director or his designee.

Facts and Discussion.  Applicant charged 3 1 days leave, 26 Feb - 28 Mar 98, en route to 
. However, statements from his commander indicate he

was present for duty 26 Feb through 13 Mar 98 except for 10 Mar 98.  Applicant started leave en 
route 14 Mar 98 but finance charged leave 26 Feb through 28 Mar 98 after allowing for travel 
time.  In this case, we support granting relief, 

Recommendation.  Restore 15 days to current leave account.  Correct leave to show one 

day chargeable leave, 10 Mar 98, and 15 days chargeable leave, 14 - 28 Mar 98.
