'2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. h4cPitrtlin, M ilner, antl Ms. Hare, reviewed
Petitioner's allegations of error and inji~stice on 18 June 2002 and, Ixlrsuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material consiclered by the Board consisted of the
enclosi~res, naval records, arid applicable statutes, regulations antl policies.
3. The Board, having reviewed all the Licts of record pertaining to Petitioner's itllegations
of error and i~i.justice, finds as follows:
a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all atl~ninistrative remedies
available under existing law antl regulations within the D~llcti tli,.irt of the Navy.
b. 111 correspondence attached as enclosure (2), the office Ixlving cognizance over the
sut!ject matter addressed i n Petitioner's application has com~nentetl to the effect that the
request has merit and warrants favorable action.
CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and especially in light of the
contents of enclosi~re (2), the Board finds the existence of an i11.ji1stice warranting the
following corrective action.
