                            RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS

      IN THE CASE OF:

      BOARD DATE: 12 SEPTEMBER 2006
      DOCKET NUMBER: AR20060010335

I certify that hereinafter is recorded the true and complete record
of the proceedings of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records in
the case of the above-named individual.

| |Mr. Carl W. S. Chun | |Director |
| |Ms. Rene’ R. Parker | |Analyst |

The following members, a quorum, were present:

| |Mr. Allen Raub | |Chairperson |
| |Ms. Linda Barker | |Member |
| |Mr. Qawly Sabree | |Member |

The Board considered the following evidence:

Exhibit A - Application for correction of military records.

Exhibit B - Military Personnel Records (including advisory opinion,
if any).

THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:

1. The applicant requests, in effect, that Orders 209-3195 dated 28 July
2005, be removed from her Official Military Personnel File (OMPF).

2. The applicant states she has orders revoking a badge that she was never
awarded. The applicant explained she received orders revoking the
parachutist badge and she did not complete the Airborne Course due to
hospitalization.
Consequently, she was not awarded the parachutist badge.

3. The applicant provides a copy of her revocation orders and an e-mail
from Enlisted Records Center.

CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:

1. The applicant’s records show she enlisted into the Regular Army on
27 June 1991 and through a series of reenlistments is currently still in
the Army with an “indefinite” expiration term of service.

2. Orders 209-3195 dated 28 July 2005 revoked Orders 206-33221 dated
25 July 2005, pertaining to the award of the parachutist badge to the
applicant.

3. The e-mail correspondence from the Enlisted Record Center, dated
19 June 2006, verifies that the applicant contacted the center to
remove the revocation orders. The Center advised her to submit a request
to the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) for removal.

4. The applicant's OMPF does not contain any orders awarding her the
parachutist badge. There is also no documentation in her records showing
completion of the Airborne Course.

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:

There is no documentation in the applicant's file to prove that she
successfully completed the Airborne Course for award of the parachutist
badge. Likewise, there are no orders awarding the applicant the
parachutist badge and her records do not contain Orders 206-33221 for
revocation. Therefore, the applicant's records will be corrected to delete
Orders 209-3195 dated 28 July 2005.

BOARD VOTE:
