The applicant requests that his honorable medical discharge with
severance pay be changed to a nedlcal retirement. Applicant's
submission is at Exhibit A.
The appropriate Air Force offices evaluated applicant's request
and provided advisory opinions zc the Board recommending the
application be denied (Exhibit 0 . The advisory opinions were
forwarded to the applicant and counsel on 16 February 1998 for
review and response (Exhibit 2 1 . Applicant's response to the
advisory opinions is at Exhibit E .
After careful consideration of applicant's request and the
available evidence of record, we find insufficient evidence of
error or injustice to warrant cci-z-ective action. The facts ana
opinions stated in the advisory cpinions appear to be based on
the evidence of record and have r o t been adequately rebutted by
applicanz.
Absent persuasive evidence applicant was denied
riGhts to which entitled, appL-opriate regulations were not
followed, o r appropriate standards were not applied, we find na
basis to disturb the existing rsz3rd. Accordingly, applicant's
request is denied.

Applicant should also be informed chat this decision is final and
will only be reconsidered upon the presentation of new relevant
evidence which was not reasonabiv available at the time the
application was filed.

The advisory opinion was forwarded to the applicant for review and response (Exhibit D). Background: During our review we were unable to locate documents that confirmed review his personal file m e r f o r m e d TDYs while assigned overseas.

The applicant was approved for retraining into AFSC lClXl and required 30 months retainability after class graduation date.
