corrected to show enlistment i n a higher paygrade.
2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. h4cPartlin, Milner, and Ms. Hare, reviewed
Petitioner's allegations of error and i~iustice o n 18 June 2002 antl, pursuant to its regulations,
deter~ninetl that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material consi(leret1 by the Roaxl consisted of the
enclosi~res, naval records, antl applicable statutes, regulations antl policies.
3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner's allegations
of error and illjustice, tinds as follows:
a. Beforeapplying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all atlrniriistrative remedies
available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy.
b.
In correspondence attached as enclosure (2), the ot'f'ice having cognizance over the
subject matter addressed in Petitioner's application Iias commented ro the effect that the
request has merit and warrants favorable action.
CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and especially i n light of the
contents of enclosure ( 2 ) , the Board finds the existence of an injustice warranting the
followirig corrective action.

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that the enlistment of
on or about 13 September 2001 is in paygrade €2.
