THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:

1. The applicant requests correction of his DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) to show the Meritorious Unit Commendation (MUC).

CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:

1. Having 1 month and 29 days of prior active service, the applicant enlisted in the Regular Army on 29 January 1990.

2. The applicant's record contains an DA Form 2166-8 (Noncommissioned Officer Evaluation Report) for the period December 2007 through November 2008, that shows he was assigned to Headquarters and Support Company, 96th Aviation Support Battalion as the Support Operations Mortuary Affairs Noncommissioned Officer in Charge.

3. The applicant retired on 31 October 2010. His DD Form 214 does not show the MUC.
