CKNEKAL:  Thc applicant appeals to change thc  rcason and authority for the dischargc and to changc the 
reenlislment code. 

'l'fle  applicant  appeared  and  testilied  hcfore  the  Dischmgc  Kcview  Board  (DRB),  without  counsel,  ilt  the 
I'lorida  State Arniory,  St. Augustine, Florida and Andrews AFU via video ~eleconfcrcnce on 21 Jan 2006.

FINDINGS:  Changc of reason and authority for dischnrgc and change ofreenlist~nent code arc denied.  The 
Hoard  finds the applica~lt submitted  no issucs contesting the equity or propriety of thc discharge,  and after a 
thorough 1-eview of thc record, the Board was unable to identify any that would,justifL a changc of discharge. 

ISSIJE: Applicant stated that hc attempted Lo  cnlist in the Air National Guard but was dcnied enlislmcnt due 
t c ~  his reentry  codc.  IIe believed  that  his reentry  codc wils  wrong.  Hc also stated  that hc was motivated  to 
serve his  country  and  desired  lo do  so.  The  Board  conclrided  that  thcrc  was  110  error  in  the  applicant's 
separation or reentvy codc arid that the discharge was appropriate.  The Roard invites the applicant to firrther 
petition thc Air Force Baal-d  Ibr Correctio~i of Military Records should he feel that rclicf is warranted. 

CONCLUSIONS:  The  1)ischarge  Revicw  Board  ct>ricludcs that  the  discharge  was  consistent  with  thc 
procedural  and  substantive  requirements  oi'  thc  discharge  regulation  and  was  within  the  discrction  of  the 
dischargr:  authority  and  that  thc  applicanl  was  provided  fill1 administrative  due  process. 
In  vicw  of the 
foregoing  [inclings the  Board  hrthcr  concludes that  there  exists no  lcgal  or equilahlc  basis  for  upgradc  of 
discharge, thus the applicant's dischargc should no1 hc c,hanged.
