MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF
Having received and considered the recommendation of the Air Force Board for
Correction of Military Records and under the authority of Section 1552, Title 10,
United States Code, it is directed that:
The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force relating to
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, be corrected to show that his request to receive Basic
Allowance of Housing (BAH) for location of dependents, zip code 99701, from 6 January
2007 through the date of his discharge on 15 March 2007 was approved by competent authority.

However, the Air Force has indicated that he was authorized to carry forward 59 days of leave at the beginning of FY07, used 28 days during FY07, and therefore, only lost 1 day of leave at the end of FY07. AFI 36-3205, Applying for the Palace Chase and Palace Front Programs, clearly states the member must repay any unearned portion of an enlistment or reenlistment bonus.
