ADDENDUM TO
RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
AIR FORCE BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS
IN THE MATTER OF: DOCKET NUMBER: BC-2006-00608
INDEX CODE: 110.00
COUNSEL: NONE
HEARING DESIRED: NO
______________________________________________________________
APPLICANT REQUESTS THAT:
Her reentry (RE) code and narrative reason for separation be changed to
allow her to reenter military service.
______________________________________________________________
STATEMENT OF FACTS:
A similar appeal was considered and denied by the Board on 22 Jun 06. For
an accounting of the facts and circumstances surrounding her request, and
the rationale for the earlier decision by the Board, see the Record of
Proceedings, with attachments, at Exhibit F.
On 27 Nov 06 and 2 May 07, the applicant’s requests for reconsideration of
her application were denied because she did not provide evidence meeting
the criteria for reconsideration. See Exhibits G and H.
On 1 May 08, the applicant provided additional documentation through her
Congressional representative and requested reconsideration of her
application. Her complete submission is at Exhibit I.
______________________________________________________________
THE BOARD CONCLUDES THAT:
In earlier findings, we determined there was insufficient evidence to
warrant any corrective action. After thoroughly reviewing the additional
documentation submitted in support of this appeal and the evidence of
record, we do not believe the applicant has overcome the rationale
expressed in our previous decisions. Therefore, in view of the above, and
in the absence of evidence to the contrary, we find no basis upon which to
recommend favorable consideration of the applicant’s request.
______________________________________________________________
THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT:
The applicant be notified that the evidence presented did not demonstrate
the existence of material error or injustice; that the application was
denied without a personal appearance; and that the application will only be
reconsidered upon the submission of newly discovered relevant evidence not
considered with this application.
