      MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR


      SUBJECT:  XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX


            Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the
      recommendation of the Air Force office of primary responsibility and
      adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our decision that the
      applicant has been the victim of either an error or an injustice.
      Therefore, the applicant's records should be corrected as set forth
      in the accompanying Memorandum for the Chief of Staff.


      Members of the Board Mr. Thomas S. Markiewicz, Ms. Jan Mulligan, and
      Ms. Josephine L. Davis considered this application on 7 February 2007.

      MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF


           Having received and considered the recommendation of the Air
      Force Board for Correction of Military Records and under the
      authority of Section 1552, Title 10, United States Code (70A Stat
      116), it is directed that:


           The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air
      Force relating to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, be corrected to show
      that


           The reviewer’s signature date in block VIII on the Field Grade
      Officer Performance Report (OPR), AF Form 707a, rendered for the
      period 30 June 2005 through 13 December 2005, be changed to 10
      February 2006 and the OPR was accepted for file in his officer
      selection record on 1 March 2006 .


           It is further directed that the corrected record be considered
      for promotion to the grade of lieutenant colonel by Special Selection
      Board for the Calendar Year 2006A (CY06A) Central Lieutenant Colonel
      Selection Board, and for any subsequent board for which the OPR
      closing 13 December 2005 was a matter of record.
