MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF
Under the authority of Section 1552, Title 10, United States
Code, Air Force Instruction 36-2603, and having assured compliance
with the provisions of the above regulation, the decision of the
Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records is announced,
and it is directed that:
The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air
Force relating to APPLICANT, be corrected by amending the Officer
Selection Brief, prepared for the Calendar Year 2005B Major
Central Selection Board as follows:
a. Under the Assignment History Section:
(1) Change current entry effective 1 Aug 00 to
read 26 Apr 98, 13B1D, E-3 Air Weapons Officer Student, STU, ACC,
Training Sq, Tyndall.
(2) Change duty title entry effective date 22
Jan 01 to read 27 Jan 99.
(3) Add duty title entry effective 1 Aug 00,
13B3B, E-3 Air Weapons Officer, W/B, ACC, Airborne Air Ctrl Sq,
Tinker.
b. The Officer Performance Report (OPR), AF Form
707A, rendered for the period of 27 Jan 99 through 26 Jan 00, be
amended to show the report was signed by the rater on 21 Feb 00
rather than 10 Mar 06, by the additional rater on 22 Feb 00
rather than 10 Mar 06, and by the reviewer on 23 Feb 00 rather
than 10 Mar 06; and, the report was accepted for file in his
Officer Selection Record on or before 30 March 2000.
c. The Officer Performance Report (OPR), AF Form
707A, rendered for the period of 27 Jan 00 through 31 Jul 00, be
amended to show the report was signed by the rater on 15 Aug 00
rather than 10 Mar 06, by the additional rater on 16 Aug 00 rather
than 10 Mar 06, and by the reviewer on 17 Aug 00 rather than 10
Mar 06; and, the report was accepted for file in his Officer
Selection record on or before 30 August 2000.
d. The Training Report closing 26 Jan 99 was accepted
for file in his Officer Selection Record on or before 28 February
1999.
It is further directed that his corrected record be
considered for promotion to the grade of major by a Special
Selection Board for the CY0405B Selection Board.

MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR
SUBJECT:
Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the
recommendation of the Air Force office of primary responsibility and
adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our decision that the
applicant has been the victim of either an error or an injustice.
Therefore, under the authority delegated in AFI 36-2603, the applicant's
records will be corrected as set forth in the accompanying Memorandum
for the Chief of Staff signed by the Executive Director of the Board or
his designee.
