APPLICANT REQUESTS THAT:
His DD Form 214, Certificate of Discharge or Release from Active Duty,
block 12c, be changed from 9 years, 11 months and 29 days total active
duty to 10 years.
_________________________________________________________________
APPLICANT CONTENDS THAT:
When he received the DD Form 214 in 1994, he asked the question of why
he was short one day, and the answer was because of his reenlistment
date.
In support of her appeal, the applicant has provided copies of her DD

Form 100, Request and Authorization for Separation, AF Form 973,
Request and Authorization for Change of Administrative Orders,

in the Air Force was done on 1 July 1992 for a period of two years
which made his normal date of separation 30 June 1994. He served 9
years, 11 months, and 29 days on active duty. On 1 July 1994, he
transferred to the Air Force Reserve in the grade of E-4. He is
currently serving in the Air Force Reserve in the grade of technical

APPLICANT'S REVIEW OF AIR FORCE EVALUATION:
A copy of the Air Force evaluation was forwarded to the applicant on
19 May 2006 for review and comment within 30 days. As of this date,
this office has received no response.
_________________________________________________________________
THE BOARD CONCLUDES THAT:
1. The applicant has exhausted all remedies provided by existing law
or regulations.
2. The application was timely filed.
3. Insufficient relevant evidence has been presented to demonstrate
the existence of an error or injustice. We find no evidence of an
error in this case and after careful consideration of the evidence
presented, we are not persuaded that he has been the victim of an
injustice. We agree with the opinion and recommendation of the Air
Force office of primary responsibility and adopt its rationale as the
basis for our conclusion that the applicant has failed to sustain his
burden of having suffered either an error or injustice. Therefore, in
the absence of evidence to the contrary, we find no compelling basis
to recommend granting the relief sought in this application.
_________________________________________________________________
THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT:
The applicant be notified that the evidence presented did not
demonstrate the existence of material error or injustice; that the
application was denied without a personal appearance; and that the
application will only be reconsidered upon the submission of newly
discovered relevant evidence not considered with this application.
