MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF

      Under the authority of Section 1552, Title 10, United States Code,
Air Force Instruction 36-2603, and having assured compliance with the
provisions of the above regulation, the decision of the Air Force Board for
Correction of Military Records is announced, and it is directed that:

      The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force
relating to            , be corrected to show that his spouse, two
daughter’s, and son were authorized to enter into a required Outside
Continental United States (OCONUS) terrorist briefing at Fort Rucker, AL
from 15 August 1998 to 21 October 1998.  Reimbursement for mileage and per
diem on 14 August 1998 for travel from Charleston AFB, SC to Fort Rucker,
AL (temporary duty (TDY) point) for 441 miles x $.20 per mile = $66.15.
Per diem for  $50.00 + per diem for the three childrem $25.00 x 3 = $75.00
= $191.15 for 14 August 1998.  Per diem for TDY to Fort Rucker, AL from 15
August 1998 to 21 October 1998.       is authorized 75% of the member’s
entitlement for per diem $30.00 per day x 75% x 68 days = $1,530.00.  The
three children are each authorized 50% of the member’s entitlement for per
diem $30.00 x 50% x 3 x 68 = $3,060.00.  Reimbursement for travel from Fort
Rucker, AL (TDY point) to port of embarkation (Charleston AFB, SC) is 441
miles x $.20 per mile = $66.15 + per diem for   $50.00 = per diem for the
three children $25.00 x 3 = $75.00 = 191.15 for 22 October 1998.  Total
reimbursement for dependents due to mandatory briefing is $4,972.30.
