1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Petitioner, a
commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve
(USMCR), filed an application with this Board requesting that his
record be corrected to show two additional qualifying years for
retirement so that he will be retained and given an opportunity
to qualify for reserve retirement.
