1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be

3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner’s allegations
of error and injustice, finds as follows:
a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies
available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy.
b.
In correspondence attached as enclosure

subject matter addressed in Petitioner’s application has commented to the effect that the
request has merit and warrants favorable action.

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner ’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:
a. The reenlistment executed on or about 17 April 1998 is null and void.
b. He executed a one month extension, operative date on or about 15 July 1998, to take
him to graduation date.
C. He was discharged on 23 July 1998 and reenlisted on 24 July 1998 (graduation
date). The term is 6 years.
d. The above changes will entitle member to a zone
CT rating (NEC 2735).
