THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:

2. The applicant states there is no error on his DD Form 214; however, he wanted to have his record updated to show the unit awards his units received after his retirement. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, Iraq from February 2008 to February 2009 and to U.S. Central Command from March 2009 to September 2010.

3. The applicant provides:

* A memorandum issued by U.S. Central Command, Office of the Commander, MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), FL, dated 10 October 2010

CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:

1. The applicant was appointed as a commissioned officer on 29 August 1986. He entered active duty on 21 November 1986 and he held area of concentration (AOC) 15B (Aviation). He served in a variety of stateside and overseas assignments. The highest rank/grade he attained while serving on active duty was lieutenant colonel (LTC)/O-5.
