THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:
1. The applicant requests reconsideration of his previous request to correct item 11 (Primary Specialty) of his DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) to show military occupational specialty (MOS) 88M2O (Motor Transport Operator) and MOS 11B2O (Infantryman).
2. The applicant states this correction was not approved because he failed to provide the necessary supporting documentation.
3. The applicant provides:

CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:
1. Incorporated herein by reference are military records which were summarized in the previous consideration of the applicant's case by the ABCMR in Docket Number AR20090003328 on 7 July 2009.
2. The documents provided by the applicant constitute new evidence requiring reconsideration by the Board.
3. The applicant's DA Form 2-1, item 6 (Military Occupational Specialties), shows he held MOS 88M2O (Motor Transport Operator) as a secondary MOS from 1 December 2000. It also shows he held MOS 11B2O (Infantryman) as an additional MOS from 1 December 2000.
4. Army Regulation 635-5 (Separation Documents) establishes the standardized policy for preparing and distributing the DD Form 214. The purpose of the separation document is to provide the individual with documentary evidence of his/her military service. It is important that information entered on the form be complete and accurate. This regulation specifies that the DD Form 214 is a summary of a Soldier's most recent period of continuous active duty. The DD Form 214 is prepared for all personnel at the time of their retirement, discharge, or release from active duty. Item 11 of the DD Form 214 reflects military occupational specialties. This item contains titles of all MOS's held or served for at least 1 year and includes for each MOS the number of years and months served. The regulation provides information found in item 11 will be derived from the Enlisted Record Brief.
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:
The applicant held MOS 88M2O and MOS 11B2O from 1 December 2000. When he served on active duty, he still held those two specialties. They should both be added to item 11 of his DD Form 214 and the "years and months held" should be entered as 3 years and 5 months (from 1 December 2000 to 20 April 2004).
