      I certify that hereinafter is recorded the true and complete record
of the proceedings of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records in
the case of the above-named individual.  A quorum was present during the
further consideration and deliberation.  The findings appearing in
proceedings dated 18 August 2005 were affirmed.  The following additional
findings, conclusions, and recommendations were adopted by the Board.

      The Board convened at the call of the Director on the above date to
reconsider the conclusions and recommendation appearing in proceedings
dated 30 August 2005.

CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE:

11.  On 24 August 2005 new information was received from the applicant in
regard to the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records
(ABCMR) in Docket Number AR20050000877, dated 18 August 2005.

12.  The evidence submitted consists of Headquarters, Division Support
Command, Permanent Orders 054-03, undated and Headquarters, 82d Airborne
Division Permanent Orders 151-81, dated 31 May 2003, both for awards of the
Army Commendation Medal.

ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:

2.  At the time of the decision of the ABCMR in Docket Number
AR20050000877, dated 18 August 2005, it was the intent of the ABCMR to make
the applicant’s record as administratively correct as it should properly
have been at the time.

3.  Evidence of record shows the applicant received the Army Commendation
Medal (1st Award) for the period 15 January to 1 May 2003.  He provided
Permanent Orders that show he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (2nd
Award) for the period 29 June 1999 to 30 November 2003.  Based upon this
evidence the Board accepts that the applicant had been awarded the Army
Commendation Medal (2nd Award).

BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:

The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to warrant
amendment of the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military
Records set forth in Docket Number AR20050000877, dated 18 August 2005, to
read:




      The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to
warrant a recommendation for relief.  As a result, the Board recommends
that all Department of the Army records of the individual concerned be
corrected by amending his DD Form 214 by adding 2nd award of the Army
Commendation Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal and the Global War on Terrorism
Service Medal.
