6.  Options: AFI 36-3208, paragraph 5.56.2, requires the General Court-Martial Convening 
Authority (GCMCA), 7 AFICC, to act on conditional board hearing waivers.  However, as the 
Special Court-Martial Convening Authority, you are authorized under paragraph 5.56.3 to reject 
a conditional waiver if you determine that acceptance of such a waiver is inappropriate. 
Accordingly, you may: 

a.  Reject the conditional waiver and require the Respondent to submit an unconditional 

waiver or a request for a board hearing; or 

b.  Recommend that the 7 AFICC accept the conditional waiver, and discharge the 

Respondent with a General discharge, with or without P&R; or 

c.  Recommend that the 7 AFICC accept the conditional waiver, and discharge the 

Respondent with an Honorable discharge, with or without P&R; or 

d.  Recommend that the 7 AFICC retain the Respondent. 

7.  Recommendation:  I recommend that you reject the conditional waiver and require the 
Respondent to submit an unconditional waiver or a request for a board hearing.
