MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR
SUBJECT: XXXXXXX
Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the
recommendation of the Air Force office of primary responsibility and adopt
the rationale expressed as the basis for our decision that the applicant
has been the victim of either an error or an injustice. Therefore, under
the authority delegated in AFI 36-2603, the applicant's records will be
corrected as set forth in the accompanying Memorandum for the Chief of
Staff signed by the Executive Director of the Board or his designee.

MEMORANDUM FOR THE CHIEF OF STAFF
Under the authority of Section 1552, Title 10, United States Code and
Air Force Instruction 36-2603, and having assured compliance with the
provisions of the above regulation, the decision of the Air Force Board for
Correction of Military Records is announced, and it is directed that:
The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force
relating to XXXXXXX, XXXXXXX, be corrected to show that:
a. On 31 October 2004, he was not released from active duty,
but on that date he continued on active duty until 1 February 2006, at
which time he was released from active duty.
b. He was credited with an additional 55 paid active
duty points for retention/retirement year 26 December 2003 through
25 December 2004, resulting in 381 total points; and, that the period 26
December 2003 through 25 December 2004 is a year of satisfactory Federal
service.
c. He was credited with 365 paid active duty points for
retention/retirement year 26 December 2004 through 25 December 2005,
resulting in 380 total points; and, that the period 26 December 2004
through 25 December 2005 is a year of satisfactory Federal service.
d. He was credited with 38 paid active duty points for
retention/retirement year 26 December 2005 through 25 December 2006,
resulting in 53 total points; and, that the period 26 December 2005 through
25 December 2006 is a year of satisfactory Federal service.
