                       RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
AIR FORCE BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS

IN THE MATTER OF: DOCKET NUMBER: BC-2005-03097
            INDEX CODE: 100.00

            COUNSEL: NONE

            HEARING DESIRED: NO

MANDATORY CASE COMPLETION DATE: 11 April 2007

_________________________________________________________________

APPLICANT REQUESTS THAT:

His military records be changed to correct his Home of Record (HOR).

_________________________________________________________________

APPLICANT CONTENDS THAT:

He sold his home in Albertville, MN and has a new residence in Maple
Grove, MN.

Applicant does not submit any documents in support of the appeal.

Applicant's submission is at Exhibit A.

_________________________________________________________________

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

Applicant enlisted in the Regular Air Force on 6 April 2004 for a
period of four years.

_________________________________________________________________

AIR FORCE EVALUATION:

AFPC/DPPAES states that there is no indication provided by the member
that an error occurred, nor is there an indication on the DD Form
1966/1 that the facts are in error. Sale of a home does not
constitute justification to change member’s record. Therefore, they
recommend denial of applicant’s request.

A copy of the evaluation is at Exhibit C.

_________________________________________________________________

APPLICANT'S REVIEW OF AIR FORCE EVALUATION:

On 4 November 2005, a copy of the Air Force evaluation was forwarded
to the applicant for review and response within 30 days. As of this
date, no response has been received by this office.

_________________________________________________________________

THE BOARD CONCLUDES THAT:

1. The applicant has exhausted all remedies provided by existing
law or regulations.

2. The application was timely filed.

3. Insufficient relevant evidence has been presented to demonstrate
the existence of probable error or injustice. We took notice of the
applicant’s complete submission in judging the  merits  of  the  case;
however, a Majority of the Board agrees with the opinion and
recommendation of the Air Force and adopts its rationale as the basis
for our conclusion that the applicant has not been the victim of an
error or injustice. As noted, sale of a home does not constitute
justification to change member’s record. In view of the above, the
majority finds no basis upon which to recommend favorable action on
this application.

_________________________________________________________________

RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD:

A majority of the panel finds insufficient evidence of error or
injustice and recommends the application be denied.

_________________________________________________________________

The following members of the Board considered this application in
Executive Session on 30 March 2006, under the provisions of AFI 36-

MEMORANDUM FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AIR FORCE BOARD
FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS (AFBCMR)

SUBJECT: AFBCMR Application of

I have carefully reviewed the evidence of record and the
recommendation of the Board members. A majority found that applicant
had not provided substantial evidence of error or injustice and
recommended the case be denied. I concur with that finding and their
conclusion that relief is not warranted. Accordingly, I accept their
recommendation that the application be denied.

      Please advise the applicant accordingly.
