Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
in effect, that the applicable naval record be

filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting,
corrected to show an extension of the 6 month period in which to ship household goods at
government expense incident to her discharge from active duty.
2. The Board, consisting of Mssrs. Cooper,
allegations of error and injustice on 24 June 2003 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined
that the corrective action indicated below should be taken

3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner
of error and injustice, finds as

a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies
available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy.
b. After reviewing the correspondence attached as enclosure
that the request has merit and warrants favorable action.

That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:

a. On 18 June 2003 Petitioner submitted a request to the appropriate naval authorities
HHGs at government expense incident to
requesting an extension to her entitlement to ship
her discharge from the Navy. On 20 June 2003 the appropriate naval authorities approved
her request for an additional period of 1 year and 4 months. Entitlement to ship
government expense incident to her discharge from the Navy will expire on
26 October 2004.

b. That a copy of this Report of Proceedings be filed in Petitioner
’s naval record.
