Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to show entitled to Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) for his prior to duty
station.
2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. Brezna, Kastner,
allegations of error and injustice on 5 November 2002 and, pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.

CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and especially in light of

following corrective action.

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:
a. The orders which reassigned Petitioner to Kings Bay, GA were modified to delete all
funding citation since Petitioner was reassigned within the same geographical area the orders
should not have contained funding citation for shipping household goods and travel of
dependents since entitlement did not exist because it was a geographical move..
b. Petitioner was
