1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject, hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to show the date of rank on her commission as an ensign, U. S. Naval Reserve as
7 July 1999, vice 21 July 1999.
2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. Grover, Neuschafer and Pauling, reviewed Petitioner’s
allegations of error and injustice on 12 December 2002, and pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
r&r-d. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the
evidence of
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.
