1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to show that his leave balance as of 1 October 2000 is credited with an additional
1.5 days of accrued leave to compensate his for leave errroneously lost in 1999.
2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. Taylor, Dunn, and Ms. Hardbower, reviewed
Petitioner’s allegations of error and injustice on 17 July 2001 and, pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Docutnentary tnaterial considered by the Board consisted of the
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.
3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner
of error and injustice, finds as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that his leave balance
as of 1 October 2000 be credited with an additional 1.5 days of accrued leave.
