Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to show a period of leave as non-chargeable convalescent leave vice accrued leave.

2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. Dunn, Pfeiffer, and Ms. Gilbert, reviewed Petitioner
allegations of error and injustice on 8 February 2000 and, pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available

That Petitioner ’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that the period from
10 September 1997 to 10 October 1997 be reflected as convalescent leave vice accrued leave
and that his leave balance be adjusted accordingly.
