Dear
This is in reference to your application for correction of your
naval record pursuant to the provisions of Title 10, United
States Code,

application on 27 June 2001.

After careful and conscientious consideration of the entire
record, the Board found that the evidence submitted was
insufficient,to establish the existence of probable material
error or injustice.
The Board found that you enlisted in the Marine Corps on 1 June
1970 at age 19.
The record reflects that you were convicted by
two summary courts-martial.
The offenses included unauthorized
absences totalling 46 days.
A special court-martial convened on 16 July 1971 and you were
found guilty of an unauthorized absence of 69 days.
The court
sentenced you to confinement at hard labor for two months and a
bad conduct discharge.

In its review of your application the Board carefully weighed all
