During this period she completed 13 years, 7 months, and 7 days of creditable active service.

5. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) confirmed the applicant received hostile fire/imminent danger pay (HF/IDP) and combat zone tax exclusion (CZTE) from 23 July 2009 through 1 May 2010 for service in Kuwait, which equates to 9 months and 9 days.
