                     SUPPLEMENTAL RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS

      IN THE CASE OF:

      BOARD DATE: 15 February 2005
      DOCKET NUMBER: AR20050001986

I certify that hereinafter is recorded the true and complete record
of the proceedings of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records in
the case of the above-named individual. A quorum was present during the
further consideration and deliberation. The findings appearing in
proceedings dated 25 January 2005 were affirmed. The following
additional findings, conclusions, and recommendations were adopted by the
Board.

| |Mr. Carl W. S. Chun | |Director |
| |Mrs. Nancy L. Amos | |Analyst |

The Board convened at the call of the Director on the above date to
reconsider the conclusions and recommendation appearing in proceedings
  25 January 2005.

| |Ms. Jennifer L. Prater | |Chairperson |
| |Mr. Thomas A. Pagan | |Member |
| |Mr. Kenneth W. Lapin | |Member |

The Board considered the following additional evidence:

Exhibit C – (show the identifying data for the original Record of
Proceedings) Record of Proceedings Docket Number AR20040000867 dated 25
January 2005.

CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE:

7. On 10 February 2005, the applicant made a new request in regard to the
decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) in
Docket Number AR20040000867 dated 25 January 2005.

8. The evidence submitted consists of a reference to paragraphs 5 and 6 of
the Discussion and Conclusions section of ABCMR Docket Number AR20040000867
dated 25 January 2005. Those paragraphs noted that an additional error had
been made on the applicant's DD Form 214 for the period ending 29 February
2004, in item 12e (total prior inactive service).

9. Item 12e showed the applicant completed a total of 2 years, 6 months,
and 17 days of total prior inactive service, erroneously including the
time he spent in the U. S. Army Reserve Control Group (Reserve Officers'
Training Corps) while not having a concurrent Selected Reserve status. His
correct total prior inactive service was 1 year, 8 months, and 3 days;
however, because he did not request the correction at the time it was not
part of that Board action. He now requests this correction be made.

ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:

7. At the time of the decision of the ABCMR in Docket Number AR20040000867
dated 25 January 2005 it was the intent of the ABCMR to make the
applicant’s record as administratively correct as it should properly have
been at the time.

8. The ABCMR's decision in Docket Number AR20040000867 failed to correct
item 12e of the applicant's DD Form 214 for the period ending 29 February
2004.

9. At the applicant's new request, item 12e of his DD Form 214 for the
period ending 29 February 2004 should be corrected to show he completed 1
year, 8 months, and 3 days of total prior inactive service.

BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:

The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to warrant
amendment of the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military
Records set forth in Docket Number AR20040000867 dated 25 January 2005 to
show that item 12e of the applicant's DD Form 214 for the period ending 29
February 2004 was amended to read 1 year, 8 months, and 3 days of total
prior inactive service.
