2. The applicant requests that his DD Form 4/3, Enlistment/Reenlistment Contract, item 20a, be corrected to show that he enlisted for a period of
4 years and 00 weeks.
3. The applicant states, in effect, that his DD Form 4/3, item 20a, erroneously shows he enlisted for 3 years and 00 weeks.
4. The applicant’s U. S. Army Recruiting Command reservation sheet shows that he was to enlisted in the Regular Army on 25 October 2001 for 4 years and 00 weeks. His Enlistment/Reenlistment Contract 4/3 erroneously shows that he enlisted for 3 years and 00 weeks.
CONCLUSIONS:
1. There is an administrative error on the applicant’s DD Form 4/3. The evidence of record shows he enlisted on 25 October 2001 for 4 years and
00 weeks, not 3 years and 00 weeks.
2. In view of the foregoing, the applicant’s records should be corrected as recommended below.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the applicant’s DD Form 4/3, dated 25 October 2001, item 20a, be corrected to show he enlisted for 4 years and 00 weeks.
