APPLICANT REQUESTS THAT:
His Fitness Assessment (FA) score dated 30 June 2011 be removed
from his records.

APPLICANT CONTENDS THAT:
The abdominal circumference measurements should have been taken
before the push-up and sit-up portions of the test. He came to
the test with a profile and was told to obtain additional
documentation. When he returned he was instructed to join in and
perform the push-up and sit-up portion of the fitness test. He
was then measured for abdominal circumference and measured 39 and
a half. He was asked to return the next day to remeasure - and
measured 38 and a half. However, the first score was recorded.
The applicants complete submission, with attachments, is at
Exhibit A.

AIR FORCE EVALUATION:
AFPC/DPSIM recommends denial. DPSIM states on 20 August 2012, a
memorandum was sent to the applicant requesting additional
documentation. Specifically, they requested a signed memorandum
from the fitness testing administrators stating the facts of what
happened/occurred during his fitness assessment. The applicant
did not provide the requested documentation.
The complete DPSIM evaluation, with attachments, is at Exhibit B.

APPLICANT'S REVIEW OF AIR FORCE EVALUATION:
On 26 November 2012, a copy of the Air Force evaluation was
forwarded to the applicant for review and response within 30 days
(Exhibit C). As of this date, no response has been received by
this office.

THE BOARD CONCLUDES THAT:
1. The applicant has exhausted all remedies provided by existing
law or regulations.
2. The application was timely filed.
3. Insufficient relevant evidence has been presented to
demonstrate the existence of an error or an injustice. We took
notice of the applicant's complete submission in judging the
merits of the case. While the applicant contends his abdominal
circumference measurements were inconsistent, we do not find the
evidence provided sufficient to conclude that he has been the
victim of an error or injustice. In view of this, and noting
there was no documentation located or provided that indicates an
error or impropriety in the physical fitness test and subsequent
fitness assessment score, we agree with the opinion and
recommendation of the Air Force office of primary responsibility
and adopt its rationale as the basis for our conclusion that the
applicant has not been the victim of an error or injustice.
Therefore, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, we find no
basis to recommend granting the relief sought in this
application.
_________________________________________________________________
THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT:
The applicant be notified the evidence presented did not
demonstrate the existence of an error or injustice; the
application was denied without a personal appearance; and the
application will only be reconsidered upon the submission of
newly discovered relevant evidence not considered with this
application.
