1.  Recommend A-be 

awarded the rank of Airman (E-2) as of 14 

997 (his date of enlistment) and receive appropriate back pay.  Airman 
completed 21 semester hours of college prior to enlistment and should have 

been awarded the grade of E-2 IAW AFRESI 36-2001, Table 3.1, Rule 7.

2.  Apparently, recruiter oversight was the cause of the error involving Airman

prevent future errors of this nature.  Every effort should be made to expedite 
correction of his military record. 

3.  This information was coordinated with the OL BX AFRCRCS senior recruiter 
located at McGuire AFB, NJ.
