available evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.

3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner
of error and injustice, finds as follows:

a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies
available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy.

CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and especially in light of

RECOMMENDATION:
That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:
a. The 4 year reenlistment executed on or about 8 June 1998 is null and void.
b. He executed a 19 month extension, operative date on or about 16 June 2000, to
incur sufficient obligated service to accept BUPERS order 0838.
C. The above changes will entitle member to a zone
AME rating (NEC 8251) for the 6 year reenlistment executed on or about 17 August 2001.
