1.
Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to establish entitlement to an increased amount of zone  “A” Selective Reenlistment
Bonus (SRB) for the FC rating.

2. The Board, consisting of Messrs. Brezna, Kastner, and  
allegations of error and injustice on 5 November 2002 and, pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.

3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner

RECOMMENDATION:

That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:

a. He was discharged and reenlisted on  

27/28 June 2002. The term remains 4 years.

29/30 June 2002 (EAOS), vice on or about

b. This change will entitle petitioner to cancel the non operative 24 month extension as

the reenlistment will take him two years beyond existing EAOS as extended. Consequently,
he will be entitled to an increased amount of zone 
“A” SRB, award level 3.0, for the FC
rating.

C. That a copy of this Report of Proceedings be filed in Petitioner

’s naval record.

Pursuant to Section 6(c) of the revised Procedures of the Board for Correction of Naval
Records (32 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 723.6(c)) it is certified that quorum was
