Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a), Subject hereinafter referred to as Petitioner,
filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be
corrected to show he reported for active duty 13 June 199 1.

2. The Board, consisting of Messrs.. Pfeiffer, Tew, and Ms. Hare, reviewed Petitioner
allegations of error and injustice on 16 October 2002 and, pursuant to its regulations,
determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the
enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies.

3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner
of error and injustice, finds as follows:

a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies

available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy.

RECOMMENDATION:

That Petitioner’s naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that:

a. All entries in the personnel record which reflects the date Petitioner first reported
active duty will show that he reported for active duty effective 13 June 1991. All accession
information, such as enlistment processing documents, will show Petitioner was scheduled to
report for active duty on 13 June 1991. Petitioner will be due payment of additional
Selective Reenlistment Bonus for last reenlistment based on Pay Entry Base Date and Active
Duty Service date being 13 June 1991 vice and other date.
