The Board considered the following evidence:
Exhibit A - Application for correction of military records.
Exhibit B - Military Personnel Records (including advisory opinion,
if any).
THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:
1. The applicant requests that her reenlistment contract be corrected by
changing her date of enlistment/reenlistment from 24 October 2006 to
24 October 2005.
2. The applicant states that her DD Form 4 series (Enlistment/Reenlistment
Document, Armed Forces of the United States), should show that she
reenlisted on 24 October 2005 and not 24 October 2006.
3. The applicant provides copies of her DD Form 4/1 and 4/2.
CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:
1. The DD Form 4/1 of the applicant's enlistment/reenlistment contract,
item 5, shows that she reenlisted in the Army Reserve on 24 October 2006.
2. The applicant's DD Form 4/2, Item 13c, 14f and 19f, shows she, the
service representative, and her commander signed this document on 24
October 2006.
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:
1. An error was made during the preparation of the applicant’s enlistment
contract which resulted in an incorrect date being shown on her DD Form 4/1
and 4/2.
2. The applicant's reenlistment contract erroneously shows the date of
reenlistment, her signature date, the service representative signature
date, and the commander’s signature date as being 24 October 2006. This is
clearly a typographical error.

BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:
The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to warrant
a recommendation for relief. As a result, the Board recommends that all
Department of the Army records of the individual concerned be corrected by
showing her reenlistment date, signature date for the service
representative, commander and herself as 24 October 2005.
