if any).
THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:
1. The applicant requests that the dates of his deployment to Southwest
Asia should be 6 March 2003 to 26 August 2003, instead of 6 June 2003 to 26
August 2003. He also requests award of the Korean Defense Service Medal,
the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism
Expeditionary Medal.
2. The applicant states that he served in Korea with the 50th Engineer
Company from 1996 to 1997.
3. The applicant provides a copy of his DD Form 214 (Certificate of
Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:
1. The applicant has been notified by separate correspondence of the
procedures for applying for the above-mentioned awards, and, as a result,
they will not be discussed further in the Record of Proceedings.

Asia from 6 June 2003 to 26 August 2003.
3. The applicant’s OMPF (Official Military Personnel File) contains no
additional evidence concerning his service in Southwest Asia.

he served in Southwest Asia from 6 March 2003 to 26 August 2003.
2. Consequently, his request to correct the dates of his deployment in
Southwest Asia cannot be granted.
