2. The applicant requests that his records be corrected to show his correct date (DOB) and place of birth (POB). He provided a copy of an amended certificate of birth from the state of Texas.

3. On 30 July 1953, he was inducted into the Army of the United States.

4. On 9 June 1955, he was released from active duty and transferred to the Army Reserve.

CONCLUSIONS :

1. Based on the evidence of record, the applicant’s DOB should be changed to 25 April 1934 and his POB to Fort Worth, Texas.

2. In view of the foregoing, the applicant’s record should be changed as shown below.

RECOMMENDATION :

That all of the Department of the Army records related to this case be corrected by showing his DOB to be 25 April 1934 and his POB to be Fort Worth, Texas.
