MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR
SUBJECT:
Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the recommendation of the Air
Force office of primary responsibility and adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our
decision that the applicant has been the victim of either an error or an injustice. Therefore, we
recommend that the pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force relating to
APPLICANT, be corrected to show that:
a. His AF Form 899, Request and Authorization for Permanent Change of Station -
Military, dated 23 July 2009, be amended in item 19, Authority and PCS Code, to reflect a PCS
code of "V," rather than "M."
b. He be entitled to single rate Basic Allowance for Housing, for the Washington DC
Metro Military Housing Area (Zip Code: 20762), during the period of 23 July 2009 to 30 May
2012.
