IN THE CASE OF: BOARD DATE: 9 April 2015 DOCKET NUMBER: AR20150004912 THE BOARD CONSIDERED THE FOLLOWING EVIDENCE: 1. Application for correction of military records (with supporting documents provided, if any). 2. Military Personnel Records and advisory opinions (if any). CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE: 11. On 26 March 2015, new information was received from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in regard to the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) in Docket Number AR20140016974, dated 18 November 2014. 12. The evidence submitted consists of a message from DFAS requesting that the proceedings be corrected to contain specific language regarding the payment for post-deployment/mobilization respite absence (PDMRA) to the applicant. ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: 4. At the time of the decision of the ABCMR in Docket Number AR20140016974, dated 18 November 1974, it was the intent of the ABCMR to make the applicant’s record as administratively correct as it should properly have been at the time. 5. The ABCMR's decision in Docket Number AR20140016974 failed to specify in the Board’s determination that the applicant was to be paid $200 per day of unused PDMRA in accordance with the provisions of Section 605 of the Fiscal Year 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. 6. Accordingly, the Record of Proceedings should be corrected to read in Paragraph 1 of the Board Determination/Recommendation "The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to warrant a recommendation for relief. As a result, the Board recommends that all Department of the Army records of the individual concerned be corrected to show that he accrued 82 days of PDMRA prior to his release from active duty on 6 February 2014 and that he should be paid $200.00 for each day of his PDMRA credit in accordance with the provisions of Section 605 of the Fiscal Year 2013 National Defense Authorization Act."
