DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: Unit temporary change of station orders with an attached listing including his name show he was ordered to deploy to the USCENTOM AOR from October 2009 to October 2010. A Soldier Deployment History Outprocessing Report provided by the applicant and information received from DFAS show he deployed during the period 7 October 2009 through 15 July 2010. Based on a 1st Battalion, 77th Air Defense Artillery Battalion memorandum, subject: Statement of Service, he provides, it appears he was deployed to Bahrain/UAE during this period. Therefore, it would be appropriate to correct his DD Form 214 by showing he was deployed to Bahrain/UAE during the period 7 October 2009 through 15 July 2010.
